I think that TCNJ is one of the only schools that would protest against tucker max…he is wildly entertaining and would bring a little fun to an uptight school..

I can not believe how worked up people are getting about Tucker Max coming to TCNJ. I’m female too, and I’m not saying I believe what he does is RIGHT, but it’s entertainment. Denying that his stories are funny and amusing is just taking them too personally. He knows what he is doing, and especially after his book and movie, girls know what he is doing too. They know what they are signing up for.
If you don’t suppose Tucker Max, don’t come when he is here. No one is forcing you to go to his show. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us that can take a joke.

Students organizations, departments, etc. are actively and aggressively working to get CUB to rescind their bid.

Melissa, I completely agree.

After all the work done on campus for domestic violence awareness, this is a truly ironic event, and I feel embarrassed for CUB that they even suggested it.

Even more pathetic is they are trying to compensate for inviting him here by saying we can have an “open forum” discussing Tucker Max. These discussions are pointless–I’d like to think TCNJ students are already educated in gender issues, and secondly, by paying Tucker Max even a single cent to talk here is SUPPORTING HIM and therefore validating his offensive endeavors.

I am saddened and disappointed to see that the college is wasting its money on Tucker Max. Last year CUB brought great acts to campus and now we’re going back to bringing obscure has beens. Tucker Max’s time was over in 2006, he waited too long to make a move which grossed only a little over a million dollars (he boldly claimed it would make between 20 and 200 million) and in his narcissism is now claiming that it will rise to the highest DVD sales of all time.

Max makes his money by providing wet dream fantasies to college aged douche bags in which they can fuck anyone they want to, treat them like shit, and be given praise for this behavior.

Marketing campaign slogans included: what’s the best thing about fat girls? Heart disease.
Isn’t that funny?! If people (scratch that – women -men can be fat and taken seriously because they have actual worth) don’t fit his personal ideals of beauty then they should literally die.

While we’re at it, why don’t we put in a bid for Joe Francis, of Girls Gone Wild Fame? If Tucker Max has a place in an educational setting, so does he.

I’m glad that I will be graduating in December and not be a member of a campus that is so antiwoman.
