Now at Little Rann of Kutch area:most tend to agree with me when I say “by and large Indians are istennisive to animals (wild or domesticated) and fellow human beings”.let’s face it, whether or not like it.The officials banning the salt workers to tread the territoryis both senseless and ruthless…{observe, they slap fine too!)kindly check if there is a significant drop in the population of wild ass in the area, probe the matter (if any) and punish the real culprits.instead of pursuing a corrective and logical action for the situation, snapping at the vegetarian agarias with a charge of being the ass hunters is ridiculous. Officials should beef up security system in the forest area and punish the ass hunters aptly and extricate themselves from this unnecessary responsbility of disturbing salt cultivatorsI feel, the salt cultivators should kick-start a feeble version of the historical Dandhi march so that the whole issue gets some kind of mileage from the ever indifferent media in India
