Campus Police officers were dispatched to Townhouses West on Jan. 24 after a report of a vomiting male. They found him standing at the front door. While questioning the student, the police found he slurred his speech and was generally disoriented and lacking in balance. He admitted that he had been drinking at an off-campus house party, but did not know how much.

The officers then asked him if he was trying to get into the building. He said he was, and that he wanted to go to bed. Having acquired his identification and other information, including his address, the officers informed the young man that he was at the wrong building. He was issued a summons for underage possession of alcoholic beverages and transported to a hospital.

Campus Police officers reported to Wolfe Hall on Jan. 24 at 1:30 a.m. after a report of an intoxicated student.

Upon arrival, they found her in her room, asleep on the lower bunk bed. She was unresponsive.

Her friends explained that she had been at an off-campus party and had consumed shots of “jungle juice,” which is usually made from a combination of Everclear and fruit punch. They were unsure of the exact amount she drank.

She had vomited at least four times since returning to the College, according to her friends.

She was transported to a hospital and issued a summons for underage possession of alcohol.

A female student reported her wallet stolen on Wednesday, Jan. 24. She last saw the wallet on Monday, Jan. 22, when she used her credit card to return books at the bookstore. Later that day she went to the Performance Enhancement Center in Packer Hall, where she believes someone took it while she was on a treadmill. While working out, she left her purse in a cubby hole where everyone in the gym had access to it.

She realized her wallet was stolen on Tuesday, when she tried to use her credit card to check her bank account. She went back to Packer Hall and asked the staff if anyone had returned a lost wallet, but no one had.

There is no further information at this time.
